Portrait of Callie Carpenter

Associate Attorney

Callie Carpenter, J.D.

Callie Carpenter is an associate attorney at The Bittick Law Firm. She is a native Houstonian with experience in various family law matters, including divorce and custody. Her work includes developing legal strategies, preparing pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, managing discovery, and preparing cases for hearings and trials.

Callie’s commitment to advocacy began well before she became an attorney. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). While obtaining her undergraduate degree, she interned with the Houston Area Women’s Center, where she provided support to children involved in the litigation process. As part of this internship, she completed extensive crisis-intervention training. Her work with the Houston Area Women’s Center prepared her for the highly emotional nature of family law and working directly with families.

Callie returned to Houston to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, she worked with the Juvenile and Children’s Advocacy Project, supporting attorneys in DFPS, juvenile delinquency, and criminal matters. She also clerked for a family law firm during law school.

These experiences shaped Callie’s approach to practicing law: prioritizing clear communication and helping clients navigate difficult and deeply personal circumstances with confidence and empathy.

Callie is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Fort Bend County Bar Association, Association of Women Attorneys, and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.

Outside the office, Callie enjoys baking, discovering new restaurants in the Houston area, and creating stained-glass art.
